What will really make this document interesting is the possibility of connecting to Maple, Mathematica, Macsyma, AXIOM, Derive, Theorist, Magma, Cayley, Pari, or whatever, to do live mathematics. Currently what we can do is to make Maple worksheets (or Mma notebooks or whatever) downloadable to run on the local system. This works, if the user has Maple or whatever.
What we would like to do is to provide a limited Maple (or Mma) session on the server which allows the user to do a (little) exploration on the topic under discussion. This might be quite reasonable, in that quite a lot can be done with a little Maple, and secure in the sense that only a few Maple commands can come across the pipe to the server.
